The Paradigm Hydraulics team recently completed a custom mud tank upgrade project for Prudential Energy Services that involved transforming two identical mud tanks into more efficient and versatile mud storage system. Our team rose to the challenge, delivering a finished project that exceeded expectations.
To improve mud storage and handling, we divided each tank into two compartments. This modification doubled the mud storage options while maintaining the tank’s structural integrity. To ensure seamless mud flow, our team meticulously reconfigured the entire piping system. A key component of this upgrade was the installation of a significantly larger mixing pump, capable of handling increased volumes.

Safety and accessibility were top of mind during this project. To create a safer and more efficient operation, we custom-fabricated a set of sturdy stairs for easier access to the tank tops. For added safety and over-the-road transportation, we incorporated foldable guardrails that can be easily deployed and stored when the mud tanks need to be moved.
